Yes, as long as you activate your digital account at stltoday.com/activate to set up a login and password.

St. Louis Post-Dispatch subscribers have access to STLtoday.com content in addition to convenient home delivery of the newspaper using that login information.

You’ll enjoy the timeless experience and feel of print, in addition to the up-to-the-minute breaking and local news on your phone, tablet and computer.

In the quest for privacy, many device and system developers are blocking information across all sites which means that consumers have a hard time staying logged in across platforms. Apple, Facebook and Twitter for example, don’t easily allow subscription information to be passed back and forth.

Here’s what you can do to help this:

Go to the Settings app on your iPhone

Select Privacy>Tracking

Make sure the option for Allow Apps to Request to Track is on.

Note, this will not turn on tracking for all your apps, but when you launch them next time, it will ask you if it can track you across websites. You’ll want to turn this on for Facebook, Safari (for email) and for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch apps. This will ensure that your STLtoday login can carry across those platforms.

The other thing you can do is check your settings in Safari

  1. Open the Settings app again
  2. Select Safari
  3. Scroll to “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking” and turn that off
  4. Scroll to “Block All Cookies” and turn that off

The next time you open these apps, you will get a message asking if you want to allow cross-site track. Once you hit Allow, it should remember your password information.

The most common reasons this happens are:

  • If you've registered and this is your first time signing in after registering, be sure that you have activated your account by responding to the registration e-mail we send out when you register. Occasionally this e-mail gets caught in a Spam Filter, so check all of your inboxes.
  • Make sure that you are typing your username and password *exactly* how it was entered when you registered. If your registered username or password was jOhN dOe', you must enter 'jOhN dOe' to sign in. It will not let you sign in if you enter 'John Doe', jOHN dOE', or any other variant. You can retrieve your username and password exactly how it was entered by going to https://www.stltoday.com/users/login/ and clicking on the 'Forgot Password?' link. Supply the e-mail address you registered with and your username and password will be e-mailed to you.
  • If you're not sure if you're registered, go to https://www.stltoday.com/users/login/ and click on the 'Forgot Password?' link. Enter the e-mail address you believe you have registered with. If you have not yet registered, it will give you an error of 'No matching email!'

Go to https://www.stltoday.com/users/login/ and click on the 'Forgot Password?' link just above the sign in button. Enter the e-mail address that you registered with and your username and password will be sent to you.
